QB Flirted with my sister

So how do you respond as a brother when you discover that Chris Leak, quarterback and Heisman Candidate of the University of Florida “Gators” [not to mention the #5 College Football team in the nation as well as undefeated], flirted and carried a lengthy conversation with my sister [Idania – 21], walked her to her car, then… she drove him to his and somehow they ultimately exchanged numbers to “keep in touch” and he’ll [possibly] be calling her in the next couple days to arrange to “hang out sometime.”  He was pretty insistent about it.  Sure, big brother is certain to help disperse wisdom, but sheesh… this is some pretty neat news.  🙂

wild coincidence update: Mom was also hit on by a University of Florida quarterback at exactly my sister’s age.  My mom had just moved from California to Jacksonville and at a dance club, when this guy approached her wanting to dance with her.  Little did she know, he had bet the football team $100 that he would get the beautiful spanish girl to dance with him. When my mom shut him down, the team was in the background laughing and giving high fives.  They eventually talked for a little bit, and he had asked for her to come to a practice… and she never did.  man… what is it with the ladies in my family!?

hmmm….I don’t know about that boy.  You cover her in prayer, trust her to be responsible and capable of making her own decisions…since she is the beautiful Godly woman she is…and tell him that if he hurts her, you will hunt him down.

  2. seriously??!!

    wow. goodness wow.

and i’m proud of you, big brother, for not threatening (atleast not posting those threats) monsieur QB for attempting to hang out with your sister.

    props, e-dawg, props.

  3. you remind her that you’re still big brother, even though he’s twice as big AS big brother. and as long as she buries her heart in the heart of God, it will take a man after God’s heart to find it.

granted this is a nothing-date right now, but it could be more. and being safe is best.
