to our future brides… (part 3)

Thank you for continuing to wait for us.  Your commitment to not just settle for any guy already exemplifies the faithfulness and true beauty hidden deep within you.  More importantly, thank you for your devotion and pursuit of the Lord — it’s that bold pursuit that directly empowers us to more effectively be the men of God we’re called to be, yes — even while in waiting.  Thank you not just for settling with the bread crumbs of His presence or some sermon from past Sunday, but going deeper and looking further into heart of God for the rich answers of your soul.  It’s what helps us to find you.  Thank you also for evading every thought, pressure or comment that may try to rob you of that hidden flame — as its that fire within you that not only sets you free, but will in turn set our beautiful future up to flourish as well.  Continue to stay strong, our sweet brides, and don’t lose heart nor be distracted by the weight of time or circumstances pressed against you.  The time may be long, but while it’s undeniably valuable, as our love for you only grows stronger.

 your future husbands

  4. Hey Erik. Thank you so much for your encouragment. It was something I have needed to hear. I have actually been thinking a lot about that lately; whether my root are in Teen Mania, or in the Lord. I know that they are in the Lord, and that *nothing* can seperate me from Him, so there really isn’t a bad side to this. I can’t just go down in silence, I AM going to go down kicking and screaming! haha. Thanks again for taking the time to encourage a sister in Christ.

    Be blessed,

    Meagan M

  5. Just wanted to let you know that your words are annointed. They bring both hope and conviction from the Holy Spirit. This particular installment of the series hit me in exactly at the right time, right when I needed encouragement.

    (Btw… I go to the Family Church… that’s how I know you)

  6. What you wrote above was awesome. you odviously have a gift when it somes to writing.

Anyways, Real Estate investing is fun and great, my market up here in CT is so inflated that if you want to buy a home and fix it up the flip it you really need to know someone who is selling low, and then buy it from them before they list it with an agent. It’s difficult and you need money. I’m buying homes for their residual income. The one I am buying right now comes with a free building lot, and my parents are builder’s so I’ll probly end up building a house on it, but only if I can make 80k on it. I already have 40-50 in the land if I just sell it.

It sounds as if you’ve been reading books and stuff, I am curious to hear what exactly you are reading and what you are looking for in regards to an investment. I’m actually moving to N.C. in September and a real estate agent who  am good friends with is from Tampa. Give me a call sometime if you wanna chat 860-367-1727

  8. Ok yes your post is a HUGE reminder…very timely!

yes I go to a park everyday on my lunch break and lay under a huge tree on a blanket and read and sometimes take a nap.

I love green grass in parks, especially in the NOrthwest when you can actually lay in it with out getting eaten by fire ants!!!!!!

  9. We as women need to hear that …. *Smiles*  Thats definitly an encouragement Eric. You know how it says in Proverbs 15:

23 A man finds joy in giving an apt reply—
and how good is a timely word!

    It was timely!
