garage sailing

take a look at my new toy.

alright, so not a toy, but a beautiful model boat i picked up at a garage sale this morning.  score.  i originally spotted it yesterday while doing some errands and came back this morning with my mom (like a little boy) to see if I could arrange a payment method to get it.  the guy was really kind and tried dropping the price a little for me, but mom instead blessed me by just buying it for me.  that’ll do.  that’ll do indeed.  😉

man — i really enjoy having a weekend off (first in a while)

I’m free tomorrow. I was going to have lunch with this girl, but now she’s sick, so can’t come. plus—I’d like to talk to you about stuff. I need counseling! haha! and I want to see you and hear aobut your life, etc. my cell:359.7650. give me a call or comment back if lunch will work for you tomorrow.

  3. it is 🙂 i was just a little upset yesterday…long story

you laughed because i’m right 🙂

^that’s a good question…what ARE you going to do with it?

just so you know, it’s probably not going to float…so any attempt to actually sail your newfound boat would probably be tragic…

    i swear i’m not a pessimist.

i say you dress up like a pirate and strap it to your back. THAT would be cool.

i remember you. i hope you’re doing well.

  4. You know its so hard to stand up for whats right, istead of giving into the pressures of the world today… at any point of time God can come back are we going to be ready? are we willing to lay down are lives for him… and to relize its not about us

  5. Erik Herrera, thank you!  how are things… well you do have a new model boat so I bet things are going extra well.  I have to say that your story really is too cute.  Aren’t moms the best?!  They just go and bless us when we’re not expecting it.

ha, wow you’re popular… just wanted to say, i love going to the summer sales with my dad … at first i thought it was extremely cheesey and embarassing, but i’ve come to embrace those qualities about my dad that used to be “dorky” and i totally adore him now, and lawn saling 🙂

  7. Holy Cow! Erik it’s good to hear from you.  It’s been like what…20 years!?!?!? Anyway thanks for posting on my xanga. I’m well, you look well. What’s up in your life, school, work? Well I really like your model boat. How much was it?

    Good times.
