good news — i got a great job (praise the Lord) working with an old mentor of mine. it’s in the kitchen remodeling business and a trade that i’ve really been wanting to learn and the pay is better than the server position i’ve been considering — i feel like Peter being rescued from the water in Matthew 14, and being told by Jesus “oh son, why did you lack faith?” i also wanted to let you know that it really blessed me to have come home the first night and seen the few of you who had left encouraging comments — thank you; you have no idea.
i start the job tomorrow morning and am pretty excited. i’m going to spend the rest of the morning catching up on some emails and then back to setting up my bedroom while finishing up the garage and finalizing some eBay stuff — wooot (not really — ha). And then later tonight — 24 (tv – the girls call it “erik’s soap”).
oh, and a little random fact at the house: oreo cookies are an endangered species — my hidden stash disappeared.
ha. this makes me smile a lot.
