combined between ohio and florida: i’ve been looking for a job for three weeks now. three weeks.
sigh — it’s a little discouraging
is it wrong to say that i just want to get into an old vw bus, find a surf board and chill/write along the california coast while watching every sunset along the way
i’d have to learn how to surf though 😉
nope, it’s okay. I’d like to be on a Swiss mountain, next to a lake beach with a book and 80 degree weather…however if you decide to run away to the Cally coast, I wouldn’t mind going. lol. I don’t think anyone would mind going with. 🙂
and note: give yourself some time to find a job. the clock starts over when you get to a new place. It’s a totally different job market. Swallow the frustration and just relax and enjoy this time with the Lord. You may not have this much free time on your hands when that great new job comes along. And it will.
I’m praying for you.
He’s got the perfect job all lined up for you…you know He does. He requires every last bit of our faith in these situations (which can be hard)….than ~ there it will be..the exact one He’s had in mind for you all along! praying that exact one will come along soon ~M~
I was totally frustrated when I came home and it took me 4 months to find a job. I am told that it is completely normal for it to take up to 6. Not the news you want to hear I am sure! It had never taken me so long to find a job but for some reason this time it did. So, just in case you were worried you are having a normal job hunting experience…lol. I do wish you much luck in your employment and I hope that you are able to hold out long enough to get a job you would like, not bagging groceries or something. Although there is no shame in bagging groceries or flipping burgers, I just noticed that it doesn’t pay that great.
I LOVE the pics of Vivianna’s birthday! OH my GOODNESS, just blesses my heart a ton.
I know you’ve gotten words of encouragement from those that are closest to you, and I know that you know the truths that God promises you- so, Erik, I know and trust with you that the Lord has a plan and a place for you, I pray that you find it soon.
= ) just got myself into a huge endeavor for the summer….it’s going to be crazy.

God works in His timing and wants you to have His best.
take care, erik.
okay I stabbed Satan. : ) and I will email you later…although I forgot what I supposed to email you about… haha lol I’m so off tonight..
Ooo! DO THAT! Come to Pt Loma and just chill all day long. We have great sunsets! It’s perfect really! I’ll sneak food from out of the caf for you =P Oh the possabilities! Hehe.
Or…be where Jesus wants you and know that he watches over you just like He does the sparrow.
and you would have to learn to say things like , dude, you know, cowabunga, wassup… so just stay there in Fla…
remember to pray ALL ways..
Sounds like fun! I want to go!
i wanna pick up and just go.
all the time.
but i wanna go overseas.
a bit further than the california coast.

If you ever bring me 17 hour old Taco Bell, I will make you eat it yourself.
Someday you’ll learn to surf.
those 3 weeks are the hardest time…in the end God had the perfect job for you…
