i long for adventure.

my dream is to travel the world with my future bride, living that daily life of adventure while never losing a moment to stop and admire the simplicity of the Lord’s beauty all around us.  i want to continue to learn to write well and to harness that gift to not only advance a gospel, but to set people free to live a life to its fullest in Christ — a life of freedom greater than anything the world can offer.  i want to father my children well, love my bride wildly, and live not bound to the laws of routine.  while i’m loving every moment and friend along the way, i’m happy right where i am and will never let circumstances define who i am or who i become.  straight up.  all praise and glory to the Father.  A verse that’s really been on my mind this week:

even though the fig trees have no blossoms

and there are no grapes on the vines
even though the olive crop fails
and the fields lie empty and barren
even though the flocks die in the fields
and the cattle barns are empty

yet I will rejoice in the Lord

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation

(Hab 3:17-18 NLT)

  1.  Keeping your focus on the Lord and everything else will fall into place. And once you meet your bride…I better meet her and be invited to the wedding. I don’t care when it is…:D God truly has someone special out there for you. You know why I say that? It is all because you are truly a treasure from the Lord. I have been blessed to adopt you as a brother…A forever brother. Not by blood, but by the Lord, which is the best kind anyway. call me sometime I would love to talk to you and pray for you, but I don’t know the best time to call…so you call me anytime after 4:00 weekdays and weekends. (832)604-6755 Hope to talk to you soon..:)
