aaawwww 🙂
your grandchildren will have a great grandfather, i think. 🙂 but josh may be right…
Ah yes, josh may be right. However, on the day of my post, i saw a guy at the supermarket who just became a grandfather. It was the talk of the store, not to mention a touching moment. The cashier was alive with conversation for her workmate and I started to try and relate. I started to think about what it would be like, and just imagined the incredible proverbs that mentioned the rewards of training a child right that would honor their mother and father. Can you imagine watching your children having children of their own and watching them raise their children in the way of the Lord. What an honor for a grandparent. Think about it! How many times have you trained someone to do something and then you watch them do it. You had nothing to do with how they did it, but you had a lot to do with training them to get there. Imagine that with a child. I feel like I can relate a whole lot more with grandparents, without being naive to why they desire to spoil their grandkids so much. (another beautiful element that the Lord has created!). In any event, I’m thrilled at the life before me and can’t wait to see what exciting things are in store for me every moment of every day…. even today. Erik ><>
