Brother Married

this past weekend — my little brother
got married
and just like a latin brother, i gave him a little tip — “bobby, now listen… tonight, before you get into that bed… kneel together by the side of it, and in your own way thank the Lord for the beautiful journey and ask for His incredible blessing for the rest of the evening and all days to come — bobby, believe me… it will be aย blessing you will forever treasure.”ย  he agreed.

i’m so proud of him.

aren’t my sisters absolutely beautiful?

  1. that’s so wonderful!

    you’re sisters are indeed beautiful

I love how it is so completely obvious that you love them and are proud of them.  it’s beautiful.

how are you doing?  it’s been a while.

    we should talk soon.

    be blessed, friend!

  2. Yes! That’s a beautiful picture!…A mission trip?….Anywhere?….Hmmmmm….I went to New Orleans last week– I’d love to go back. Maybe New York again, or California. (I believe there are so many people in the US that need the Lord!) But overseas would definitely have to be India. And…I’m glad you want to write. You write very well.

  3. they look like a good couple, great advice.

So, Heart Springs International. Is who I went with. I was only there a week. It was like 1500 bucks. They treated us really nice. We actually ate and slept pretty nice to. Tim Taylor is the guy in charge. I will try to get you his e-mail. I really had a good time. I enjoyed the way they minister to. They go in and install these things that clean the water. Cause there are so many people getting sick from the water. They show them how to do everything. While some are doing that. others are having bible school with the children! I actually thought about going back this summer. Im still not sure though. I have to see where I will be living and working.

I think the website is just  http://www.heartspringsinternational.com

    remember to pray ALL ways…

  5. He is your little brother?  Doesn’t look so little to me.

    Well that is exciting?

What you told your brother to do…you said it like you have experienced that kind of prayer in that situation before>?? Have you been married.

Sorry I asked…it is none of my business.  Just curious, cause of the way you said what you said to your brother.

Yeh your fam is beautiful.  You can tell that you care a whole lot for them!

  6. your whole family looks wonderful! i mean, i know it’s not your whole family, but what family is there in that picture looks wonderful. and I only say that because, as a guy, it would seem a bit awkward if I just commented on the sisters. and since the guys in there arne’t ugly, I figured if I balanced the statement out by including them,it’d sound better and not very awkward.

  7. so i just saw you’re older than me. which i find weird. because i was a gi when you were an intern. and because i was one of the oldest gis. so anyway, it makes me smile that you are older. because i always felt so old at tm.

    and that is all.

  8. Yeah, I’ve seen that bumper sticker. (sadly it took a sec for it to register) lol. At least it DID finally register. I’m sure there is someone out there who will prepare for April first to do street witnessing just for athiests. …actually, thats not a half bad idea… heh. I do beleive I’ve found a new religous holiday. : )

as for the question…peru. because my heart is still there. i get to go this summer for two weeks and i’m so excited. i also can’t wait for when i get to visit east africa…rwanda is what i’m thinking…soon, i hope.

  11. A few things:

If I could do anything and money were no object… I’d spend my days cooking and speaking and acting and playing with children… and traveling and worshiping and writing…

And if I could go on a mission trip anywhere… right now, I’d go to London.

And why haven’t you e-mailed me back yet?  Heathen.

And the picture of your family is lovely.
