I would work for Teen Mania Ministries, advancing the amazing Good News of the love of God in heaven and his Son Jesus Christ. I would give my life away to/through this ministry so that unknown numbers of people would hear of the true love which they have never known before…
You know… I’ve thought about this so many times… and the truth is I can’t imagine what it would be like. But I do know that once I paid off our mortgage and bought my husband a new car, I would pay off all my parent’s bills and pay for them to retire. Then I would help both of my brother’s buy houses. Adam’s house would be built special for Elijah. After that I don’t know what I would do… maybe open my own dance studio, take a random road trip with my husband and my camera when ever and for however long I want, over pay someone to take care of my yard (I hate yard work). I don’t think endless money could end poverty and save the world… but I would try.
Same thing I’m doing now. I don’t think you need money to fulfill God’s work. Yes, it does cost to go to other countries. But I know many peaple that still go without money. and do his work. God gives me what I need, when I need it. ( sometimes I don’t need alot )
I think so many use money as a way of not doing God’s will. ” I would love to go to India, Africa,Costa Rica,Europe, ect but I don’t have the money.. could someone please send it to me? ” That’s so many peoples attitude. What ever happened to working for it. saving your money. Then going ..
Jacob worked for 14 years to get what he wanted.. Rachel. you can’t tell me his heart didn’t burn for her…I know what my heart burns for. I guess, That’s a gift..
Well, if money were no object than I guess that would mean that it would be infanate and no longer of use to anyone. So I suppose that I would start a new system of trade and it would be a system where there would be no out sourcing of anything and no smaller countries would get screwd over. Also, I would make sure that everyone had enough money to stay in fair health without starvation and poverty. So after that I would spend the rest of my life… Hopefully happy.
Erik, This has nothing to do with your post, but if you would like for me to sent you another invitation, then I will need your florida mailing address. If you have already sent it to me please send it to this email address…
i’d get married… travel for about 5 years.. missions, seeing the world.. and all that goes with it… settle somewhere where the weather is about 70ish all year round.. no humidity and start a family.
somewhere tropical- where i could probably hang with the ladies there and start some kind of ministry.
or i could be an american housewife. im down for that too.
Well, first I would pay off my mom’s debt and buy her a house, probably buy a few other special people in my life a house too. I would pay for school to finish my degree in Biblical Studies/Counseling and I would give a lot to charities. There is one here in Houston that I am going to get involved with that I would give a lot of money to. It’s for families with children in the bone marrow unit at Texas Children’s hospital. I would get hooked up with a missions organization in Africa (after my degree and if I am not married) If I was married, I would have to follow the leadership of my husband and what he desired to do if money wasn’t an object, but I am not married so lets go back to that. I would go to Africa and work in orphanages, helping them build better quality facilities. I would work with the foster children and broken families in the US. Most of these things I am prayerfully hoping to do to some degree anyway, having money not be an object would just make it happen faster and easier. But then, it would also take away the need to trust in the Lord, so I don’t know if I would want the money to not be an issue. We should pursue the things we are passionate about regardless of the money issue, because the Lord is soveriegn and faithful.
Tricky tongue: that’s like, a communist system of government right there…eh, not good. π
What would I do? I suppose I would send myself through schooling, I would spend years learning as much as I could without worrying about working. Infact, I’d send other people through school too. Then, I’d start a few businesses that would not only spread Christianity by acting as servants for Christians (such as, a Christian film studio that would film movies that were Christian, and yeah, play them in theatres, but would manage it on a small budget so it would turn a profit even by letting people see the movie for almost nothing), but also be a lasting institution to provide money for other people to become edcuated and sent out to the mission field. Then, I would go with myself and those other people I sent through school, and we’d either go together somewhere (not sure where) to spread the gospel, or split up. I actually might not want to be a famous missionary, but I’m sure I’d have no problems traveling with another missionary teaching people, and I could supply equipment not only to us, but to the other missionaries. Be in charge of making sure we had planes and cars and gas and food, venues to preach in and sound stuff to amplify our voices when God didn’t amplify it for us(I would expect him to amplify the voices in some places because God likes miracles) I’d organize all of that and be willing to preach if God told me I needed to instead of the other people.
if money were no object, i would be on the mission field somewhere …………even somewhere as glamorous as gainesville……and i would be setting up outreaches and teaching people how to make disciples.. which, since that is actually what i am doing, i think i am in the right place. but i would be making a difference in people’s lives. all the time.
Have a humongous mansion fill it with abandoned kids and love, feed, & teach them who they are in Christ, so they can become an army and kick the devil’s butt!
If money weren’t an issue, I’d make sure my parents were taken care of and had need of nothing but more of Him ( and I would encourage them to pursue that wholeheartedly), then I would do humanitarian aid/ disaster relief work while sharing the LORD with the people I’m helping survive, and document it all with my camera and write the stories
hmmm… i love this question… right now if I could do anything…
i would get married then i would travel all over the world… share the love of God in every country… to all the people there. i could stay as long as i wanted in each place… and i would go everywhere possible. i would adopt abandoned kids from the places i went, have my own children… there’s a lot more, but that’s all i’ll put on here for space reasons. π
I would travel around the world…first to Spain, then to the rest of Europe and the globe…BUT I would return to Guatemala and make a difference here, and work until my country become a new christian nation.
Oh my dear Son…The things that flood my mind if money were no object. There wouldn’t be children living on the streets, would find the cure to all life threating illnesses, and post billboards in every highway inside the US and abroad replacing tracks. There is one simple song that Coca Cola once used way before your time that came to mind when you posted this question. However, the real song goes something like this………..
I’d like to build the world a home And furnish it with love Grow apple trees and honey bees And snow white turtle doves I’d like to teach the world to sing In perfect harmony I’d like to hold it in my arms And keep it company.
I’d like to see the world for once All standing hand in hand And hear them echo through the hills For peace throughout the land (I’d like to teach the world to sing) Like the world to sing today (In perfect harmony) A song of peace that echoes on And never goes away.
I’d have agents in every country, and drop off sites where mothers/fathers could drop off their unwanted children.
I’d have school’s attached to these drop off sites where children would be placed into a family unit. They’d be given the choice to live within the family unit on the school’s campus until they were of age, or to be adopted.
There’d be an international registry where parents from all other nations could adopt kids from all other nations.
No one would be unwanted.
If not adopted they would be raised and loved in their family home. Two parents, no more than 5-6 kids per family unit. They’d be taught trades/education according to which country they live in, the level of technology, what they want to do with their lives, and the skills they need to succeed. There’d be school dances, and first dates, ballet classes, music lessons, and most of all, a mom, dad and siblings to come home to at the end of each day.
They’d love the Lord…and know Him. HE would permeated everything, and BE the reason for everything.
I’d start it, and make someone else run it, so I could be a family unit mom with my husband…OR organizing it from the logistical view sounds amazing…and better. yes. family unit moms/dads would need to be native to the country. But I could raise my own family, pass off most of the work of the business to those the Lord places in my life, and support my husband in his ministry.
Ultimately…I want a husband to help, children to raise, and ministry to do.
I’m willing for whatever the Lord places in my life, whether that be overseas, US, missions, sending…I’m up – and I’m the type of person that would love to do them all…be a missionary, work state-side, speak, write, LOVE, share my life to benefit others and raise kids who know their self-worth. Different things for different seasons of my life.
BUT if I had to pick my own ministry, as a single without the leadership of a husband….up above is what I’d pick.

ok definetly travel around the world visiting orphanages and visit the Philippines anytime I want just to spread the gospel and the love that God has for his children, all sorts of missions trip!!!
I’d travel all over the world…and be a missionary, wherever God would place me, tearing up Satan’s kingdom like none other. That would be money well, well spent. Oh yeah, pay off my family’s bills and school loans, handle the church’s needs, and all that other stuff…and I’d go to a place to actually prepare for the ministry, like HA.
Definitivamente, es mejor que tomes un vuelo en lugar de manejar. Te llevaria varios dias llegar aca en carro. And tell me, why has Guatemala been in your heart? lately
First off Im Laura Locy’s older sister. Hello This question is one I ponder most of the time. So many things that can be done and should be done. And trying to be selfless at the same time you know. I would first have to take acre of my parents. I mean they have taken care of me all these years its only fair right. Then I would make sure our church had a building to grow into. I would then get rid of my school debt because lets face it a mind is much much clearer when it doesnt have to worry about debt (at least in my case) After which I would go to as many places I could in the world sharing the gospel through drama and entertainment. Thats my passion reaching the lost through the art of performing. I would also love to work with homeless people and children anywhere. Thats pretty much what it boils down to me. I mean sure I would love to get married and have children an d be a mommie, but God comes first you know… Well, have an amazing day!!
Funny you should ask that question . . . This has been a popular topic for discussion in my classes lately. I’m studying what I’m studying on faith that God has called me to it, not (by any means) because financial stability is guaranteed upon graduation. This has been stretching, to say the least, because I’m a very logisticly minded individual who likes to have a fail-proof plan. So I say that to preface this: God has encouraged me to walk the scary walk of faith, and I’m currently approaching life as if money were no object. The result? I’ve traveled most of the US, been to Africa, have plans to go to Europe, and marvel at the production experiences I’ve been involved with and am pursuing in the future . . . and it’s all for the sake of His glory. Turn your question into a life philosophy, and watch what happens . . .
I thought about this question and decided that anyone who spent their life only doing ONE thing would have to be a fool. THerefore I can not answer this question because my list would be longer than America. π
mainly what i am doing know! Helping people know the lord… Not to just sound spiritual but i like helping people. It helps me too. I would visit all my friends and share life together. Share this life which i call a JOURNEY.

Same thing I’m doing right now, God provides for his children so money should be no basis of accomlishing what the Lord has called one to do.
living in a little apartment over a coffee house in france with a dear friend/friends. we would love people and make coffee and tea and surprise the french with our very un-american ability to do things beautifully.

I’d go to Mexico this summer with you and build homes for people who don’t have them, while sharing
Jesus
all the while and on some breaks…
Will you do that with me? Mister carpenter, sir?
I have a hard time believing it- that’s great to hear you speak of carpentry as such.
