so what are the odds that both the headlights on my car would go out at the same time?
strange…
oh, by the way… hello.
some exciting things have been going on lately, but i’ll keep you all posted as to what all those little details are shortly. 🙂
ps: my college class broke into discussion about how great the “meet the robinsons” movie was (i told you!)
lol…it is a great movie.
and i’ll pray for your headlights.
hah. I was at Santa Fe today (around 6ish I was leaving), and I saw your little red car. I know it was your Jetta too. It was behind the Science building.
= ) … exciting things huh – hmm, you’ll have to fill everybody in on that!
Have a lovely day – MM
I have yet to see it.
Exciting news, huh?
(I got another ipod, by the way.)
Well, as a mechanical engineering student (as well as a backyard mechanic) I would say that it does sound strangely odd for both headlights to go at the same time unless your headlights are run in series with each other (highly unlikely in a 12V system). It kinda sounds like a ground short might have caused a power surge enough to blow them both…unless of course, there is that off hand chance that they actually just blew at the same time because the operating voltage of the vehicle would spike briefly when the first one blew which might be enough to cause the other side to blow if it was getting close anyway…(yes this is the way my brain thinks…there’s a reason I’m studying engineering…)
Regardless of the cause, I hope it was a one time incident and doesn’t happen to you again soon (as this would mean little red would have a problem).
Hope you are doing great!
oh yeah that movies out, I should go see it…Denver Root went and saw it then called all of us when we were at Teen Mania earlier this month to ask if we wanted to go see the midnight showing of it, after further discussion we discovered he had already seen it, had just got done seeing it and liked it so much he wanted all of us to come see it with him again 🙂 lol
Hah, I know what you mean, last month, both my headlights went out, what was worse I had just gotten out of my night classes! I didn’t know at first it was the headlights that was the problem since they both went out at the same time. I thought it was some kind of circuit problem and brought it somewhere, I actually took it to the shop, but, they said, they would have to charge me $90 just to take a look at it. Hah, I wasn’t stupid enough to do that. 2 weeks later my coworker told me it HAD to be my headlights since I said the highbeams were working, so he fixed it!!! I was so happy, but, kind of felt stupid att he same time.
um…did you turn them off?
