the flu…



so substitute the root bear bottles with apple juice and orange juice, the biology book with the book of Haggai (bible) and you’ll have a pretty accurate picture of my day.  this is the first time i’ve ever had the flu, so it was a little weird at first.  i’m typing this post by the grace of God (and Sudafed), but just wanted to ask you for your prayers.  In fact, to help you with your prayers, I have included a sample one below that you can read and amen to right now!  Hey, it’s never selfish to ask for prayer!  I tried to design a prayer that works for anyone, so pray it in faith (not hope) and I’d be most grateful (thanks)!:




Father, You are worthy to be praised and worthy to be honored in word, thought and deed.  Even in our circumstances, You are there, and even in our illnesses, You are there.  Father, I just want to thank you for my brother, Erik, and just ask that you surround him with your love, peace and healing.  I pray that You show him what You need to show him through this time and that you can make for a quick and active healing.  Father, we give You all the glory and I thank You for the quick healing You are going to provide.  I pray that You also show him wisdom in what to eat and to drink lots of water.  Give him rest, Father, in Jesus’ Name… Amen.

  4. I will be praying for you…could you be praying for me too? I am sick as well…Thx Brother!! About the volunteer thingy…well, I was given a job so I won’t be coming…Chris is still planning on making his way there…He is extending his time down in Texas 2 weeks…:D What I plan on doing is making my way up there for a weekend…He has something planned…not sure what though…:D anyway, Got to go…
