pull me through
sometimes i just don’t understand how the Lord seems to just pull me through circumstances and situations. Although I’m starting to feel like I’m wearing thin, the Lord keeps pouring in and I keep ministering out. Why do things just seem grim despite the pouring in and pouring out? must be some kind of test or something.
i was just reminded today from the song “blessed be your name” of Job’s circumstances and he choosing to say “blessed be your name” despite the situations at hand. Although what i’m going through is nothing, i will still choose to say to the Lord: “you are worthy Father!”
🙂

that is such a great song….i find myself singing it throughout the day…trying to remind myself that no matter what, “blessed be the name of the Lord”….and that it is a choice, moment by moment, to praise and worship Him regardless of the cirmcumstance.

Dear Erik,
If you have the gift of healing, you understand that when you pray for someone to be healed it feels as though your Spirit comes out of you and goes into them…so, you feel weak for a while after you have prayed for them and while you are praying for them. I have come to realize that this feeling is nothing compared to the joy you feel after they are healed.
In the same way, while you minister, you give of yourself. The Bible says let love overflow in you, so you can give to others. If you’re not overflowing, then your giving more then what you can handle to give.
REMEMBER: We must always be overflowing in the Word, in love, and in joy, and in the Spirit…Fill yourself up until you can’t handle any more of God, because of His magnificence. I promise you that you’ll never get to that point of having to much of God in your life and you’ll always desire more, but keep feeding yourself in the Word and in worship. Spend every moment in communication with God and you will see that you are not giving of yourself, but you are giving of the Spirit.
Carolyn
ps. On campus I had many conversations with hundreds of people and very few conversations do I remember. The Lord has shown me that I don’t remember these conversations, because I spent most my time prophesying, teaching, and praying in the Spirit. The Spirit knows all things and opens our eyes to the truth. If you live every moment in the Spirit, then your carnal mind will be empty and you won’t know anything within your mind, only your Spirit. You’re in my prayers. Be blessed! Live life in the abundance of God’s love.
Also, if you pray for long hours, afterwards you feel so weak, broken, and tired. The reason you feel these things is, because you are killing your flesh to allow your Spirit to live and reign…Don’t believe my words unless you sense truth in them through your own Spirit. Take only that which is good and dispose of everything that is of my own mind. God bless!
Carolyn, thank you for your words of encouragement.. you hit it right on, however the pressure that I’m referring to is related to circumstancial pressures. but alas… despite the challenges, as well as in my queit time this morning, continuing to give the Lord the glory!
