week in pictures

This week has been wonderful.  Although a little sick, I was able to watch little campers tackle each other, laugh together, cry together… and then be a part of watching several mission trips arrive back all at once.  I love the summers here!  The next day (today) hundreds of more youth arrive to have sessions for a couple of days before leaving for their mission trip.  Yep, a very busy campus!  Let me get this memo out to all of you: I am not going to the New Orleans mission trip.  I was orignally signed up to go, but unfortunatley switched for another trip (which was great by the way).  I am, however, spending time with the co-leader I would of had for that trip (she’s on campus now) and getting to know her and hopefully the team a little better before they go.  Although I can’t go, it’s pretty nice to get to know them and keep them in prayer.  Fear of man is going to be rough on that trip especially… i went to New Orleans before and phew… didn’t have the best of memories.

Well, without much ado, here are some pictures to better share the week:

Father, we thank you for this next week.  May Your love just surround those reading this and let the peace that only comes from you fill their days.  Father, help us to remember that You are always in control.  Father, let us rest in You this week.  Thank You Father, for your mercy, love and warm touch.  We love You Father… help Your children to see more of Your truth.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
